Faster and Comparisons

There's a guy named Francisco Martin who posted his comment about the new WT single on blabbermouth. In his opinion Faster is too much similar to a song already covered by HIM.

"I really, REALLY can't understand the dudes at WT are not realizing or nobody told them that their first single out of their new album is a total rip off tune!!!

God damm it, it sounds WAY TOO CLOSE to Chriss Isaak's "The Wicked Game", and that song was already covered by Finland's HIM!!!"

Here's the original version:

And here's the cover by HIM:

Martin continues:
"If this isn't a rip off then the people working for WT (engineers, producers, advisers and so on) should be ALL fired!!! "

Faster lyrics

4. Faster

I can't see, cause it’s burning deep inside.
Like gasoline, a fire running wild.
No more fear, cause I’m getting closer now.
So unreal, but I like it anyhow.

[PRE-CHORUS:]
I go faster and faster and faster
and faster and faster and faster and faster.

[CHORUS:]
I can’t live in a fairytale of lies.
And I can’t hide from the feeling cause it’s right.
And I go faster and faster and faster and faster for love.
And I can’t live in a fairytale of lies.

I can feel that you’ve mezmerized my heart.
I feel so free.
I’m alive, I’m breaking out.
I won’t give in, cause I’m proud of all my scars.
And I can see I’ve been wasting too much time.

[Repeat Pre-Chorus and Chorus]

[Instrumental Break]

[Repeat Chorus]

A fairytale of lies.
